You can sew with us! Join members of Grand Sewcial, our local apparel sewing community group, for a day of sewing here at Family Sewing. Whether you’re making something to wear for Frocktails or working on a more personal project, you’re welcome to share space, laughter, and tips. You will need to bring your own machine, fabric, pattern, and other supplies. Family Sewing will also have some supplies available for purchase.

Class Policy
Class Policy
Thank you for considering classes at Family Sewing. Our classes require planning and preparation in advance including ordering materials and supplies, scheduling teachers and reserving our classroom space. When students request cancellations or reschedule at the last minute, it affects all of the above in addition to taking away a spot from someone who wanted to take the class.
We are unable to make exceptions to our policy listed below. That includes reasons of illness, travel, or work. If you are unable to attend a class at the last minute, please consider offering the spot to a friend!
If Family Sewing cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund.
If you wish to cancel 21 days or more before the date of your class, you will receive a FULL
refund.
If you cancel 14-20 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit.
If you cancel 3-14 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit minus the Teacher Fee for the class.
If you do not cancel your class within 48 hours of the class start date and time OR you do not show up, you will forfeit your payment for that class.
If you register for an event or class with a guest educator, your class fee is nonrefundable.
