Shipping policy

Shipping Locations

Family Sewing LLC currently ships orders within the United States only. We do not ship internationally at this time.


Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 3–5 business days after payment is received. Processing time does not include shipping transit time.

  • Orders are processed Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.

  • During peak seasons, sales, or special promotions, processing times may be extended.


Shipping Methods & Carriers

Sewing Machines & ScanNCut Machines

  • Shipped via UPS

  • Shipping rates are calculated by weight at checkout

  • Customers may choose from available UPS service options

  • Sewing machines ship separately from all other items

  • Additional insurance is included to cover the full value of the machine

All Other Items

  • Shipped primarily via USPS

  • Flat-rate shipping: $10

  • Free shipping on orders over $75

In-Store Pickup

Free in-store pickup is available at checkout.

  • Orders are typically ready within 24–72 business hours

  • Customers must wait for a pickup confirmation email before coming to the store

  • Orders will not be available for pickup until confirmation is received


Tracking Information

Tracking numbers are automatically provided once a shipping label is created through Shopify. Please note:

  • Tracking updates are controlled by the carrier

  • Delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed

  • Family Sewing LLC is not responsible for carrier delays once the order has shipped


Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages

If a package is delayed, lost, or marked as delivered but not received:

  • Family Sewing LLC will file claims with the carrier when appropriate

  • Replacements or refunds will be issued at our discretion after carrier investigation

  • Carrier resolution timelines may vary and are outside our control


Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.

If a package is returned or undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address:

  • The order may be reshipped at the customer’s expense, or

  • A refund may be issued minus original shipping costs


Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery

  • Clear photos of the damaged item and packaging are required

  • Original packaging may be required for carrier claims

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may result in the claim being denied.


Separate Shipments

Orders containing sewing machines may arrive in multiple shipments, as machines ship separately from other items. Tracking will be provided for each shipment when available.

Family Sewing LLC reserves the right to update or modify this shipping policy at any time without prior notice.
