Club policy; if we miss a club date due to us having to cancel, we will reschedule that club. If you (individually) miss a club due to a vacation, illness, weather, etc; we will not be able to refund or reschedule that class. We do have Open Sew days available that may work for you to come and do the missed project, depending on the project. As always, we will do our best for you!
Any machine with a 6 x 10 hoop or larger will work for this club!
Please note: Some months MAY have a small kit fee; you will receive an email before each club with a list of what you need.

Materials Included: Members will receive an email each month with the materials needed.
Requirements: A Baby Lock or Brother embroidery machine with a 6 x 10 hoop or larger is required.
Instructor: Lisa Smith
Instructor Bio: Lisa is an avid embroiderer! She has been a school teacher for 30 years and retired before the 2024 school year. We are happy to have her working here part-time and teaching, too! Lisa and her Mom have a sewing room where they get to sew together; isn't that fun? She and her husband love to camp in their RV and spend time with their grown kids and Grands.

Class Policy
Class Policy
Thank you for considering classes at Family Sewing. Our classes require planning and preparation in advance including ordering materials and supplies, scheduling teachers and reserving our classroom space. When students request cancellations or reschedule at the last minute, it affects all of the above in addition to taking away a spot from someone who wanted to take the class.
We are unable to make exceptions to our policy listed below. That includes reasons of illness, travel, or work. If you are unable to attend a class at the last minute, please consider offering the spot to a friend!
If Family Sewing cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund.
If you wish to cancel 21 days or more before the date of your class, you will receive a FULL
refund.
If you cancel 14-20 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit.
If you cancel 3-14 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit minus the Teacher Fee for the class.
If you do not cancel your class within 48 hours of the class start date and time OR you do not show up, you will forfeit your payment for that class.
If you register for an event or class with a guest educator, your class fee is nonrefundable.
