Looking for a dedicated space to work on your latest project without the distractions of home? We’ve reserved our classroom just for you! Bring your sewing machine, knitting needles, or craft supplies and enjoy a productive day of creating in a fun, collaborative environment.
Whether you want to spend the whole day or just drop in for a couple of hours, you’ll love the extra room to spread out. It's the perfect opportunity to meet fellow makers, share ideas, and finally get those works-in-progress (WIPs) across the finish line. Bring a friend or come ready to make new ones!
What to Expect

Open Studio Space: Plenty of table room to cut, piece, craft, and assemble.

A Social Environment: Connect, chat, and get inspired by what others are creating.

Flexibility: Stay for the whole session or just pop in for a bit—it's entirely up to you.
Please Note: This is a self-directed open studio time to work independently. There is no formal teacher or guided instruction provided during this session.

Class Policy
Class Policy
Thank you for considering classes at Family Sewing. Our classes require planning and preparation in advance including ordering materials and supplies, scheduling teachers and reserving our classroom space. When students request cancellations or reschedule at the last minute, it affects all of the above in addition to taking away a spot from someone who wanted to take the class.
We are unable to make exceptions to our policy listed below. That includes reasons of illness, travel, or work. If you are unable to attend a class at the last minute, please consider offering the spot to a friend!
If Family Sewing cancels a class for any reason, you will receive a FULL refund.
If you wish to cancel 21 days or more before the date of your class, you will receive a FULL
refund.
If you cancel 14-20 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit.
If you cancel 3-14 days before the date of your class, you will receive a refund in the form of store credit minus the Teacher Fee for the class.
If you do not cancel your class within 48 hours of the class start date and time OR you do not show up, you will forfeit your payment for that class.
If you register for an event or class with a guest educator, your class fee is nonrefundable.
